While Asian women don't exactly dominate the modeling scene, they are becoming increasingly popular. Here are the few renown Asian models in the fashion world.

Tao Okamoto
Tao Okamoto is a Japanese model who has been a face of Ralph Lauren. She has appeared in advertising campaigns for Ralph Lauren, Benetton, HM, GAP, Zac Posen, Kenneth Cole, and Uniqlo Heattech and editorials for Allure, Harper's Bazaar, V magazine, and Chinese, Japanese, French, American, and Russian Vogue.


Shu Pei Qin
Shu Pei Qin was featured on the cover of the August 2010 edition of Vogue Magazine (China) and has also been featured in Teen Vogue and Elle magazines. Shu Pei is from China and models in both China and the United States. She has a contract with Maybelline cosmetics 


Du Juan
Du Juan is a Chinese fashion model and former ballerina. She graced the cover of the premier issue of Vogue China and has since become a fixture in its pages, appearing in almost one editorial per issue since its launch in 2005. She has also appeared on the cover of the 2006 TIME with fellow model Coco Rocha, and is one of the models featured in the 2008 Pirelli Calendar, which was shot in her native Shanghai. Du has appeared in editorials for Allure, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, V magazine, i-D and the American, Chinese, French, Italian, Korean and British editions of Vogue.


Ming Xi
Xi Mengyao from China, widely known as Ming Xi, was one of the finalists at the recent Elite Models’ Look World competition. She made her international debut on the runway of Paris recently, and it was quite an impressive one too. She walked for the Givenchy Couture, Fall/Winter 2010 show, which cause quite a stir among the fashion watchers. Xi has been featured in Vogue and Vanity Fair.




Liu Wen
Liu Wen is a fashion model from China. She became a national success when she landed the cover of Chinese FHM in the beginning her career. She then started working for Chinese fashion magazines like Vogue and Harper's Bazaar. For the Spring 2009 season, she appeared in seven major campaigns, including DKNY Jeans, The GAP, Barneys New York, Benetton, Alexander Wang, Converse, and cKone. She has also appeared in campaigns for Bergdorf Goodman, Calvin Klein Alexander Wang, and Vivienne Tam. She has appeared in editorials for Chinese Elle, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar, Allure, i-D, Interview, V, W, and American, Chinese, British, Portuguese, German, French, and Teen Vogue.




Sun Feifei
Sun Feifei is a fashion model from China. She represents China in Elite Model Look in 2008 and starts to model locally. She has been featured on the cover of Chinese Marie Claire, Chinese Elle and appears in two editorials for Chinese Elle, V editorial and Chinese Vogue editorial.
